As some of you who read our site regularly may know, BurnoutAholics HQ is moving to Norway in the middle of May. This date is fast approaching and there are a million and one things that we need to do before it gets here!
Today, I crossed off one thing from my to-do list as I signed up for a Norwegian Language course, so as long as I get a place, I will be studying Norwegian shortly after we get settled in!
I have also started to fill in the mountain of forms that are needed when you move from one country to another, and the other mammoth task that I need to accomplish - Operation Get Rid of Lots of Crap!
Having recieved quotes from lots of international removal companies, it costs about £6 to transport 1 x cubic foot of stuff to Norway. As this is not cheap, I'm trying to take as little as possible with me. I'm not that much of a pack rat, but I have lots of very odd stuff kept in boxes for no good reason. Sorting through it and getting rid of it one way or another will take some time. I hope I can get it all cleared out well before we go!
The other task is packing what I am going to be taking, this has already started and my Crystal Xbox is tucked back in it's box ready for transportation. Other bits are being added to my taking pile, it is all getting very real and a little bit scary! I have only moved 3 times in my life, so this is a HUGE deal for me!! I don't think moving to another country is a small deal for anybody, it is very exciting and I can't wait, although I wish I had more time cos I'm not ready yet!!!

Leaving Home Country?
If Xan is from Norway, and he started the site in collaboration with you Zombs and regularly update and check it..... wasnt it based in Norway to begin with? Just wondering.....

UK base
We have been based more in the UK then in Norway up until now, so I think of my home in Margate as being the BurnoutAholics HQ.

Moving, but NOT Closing down!
To quash any rumours to the contrary, I just want to reassure all you BurnoutAholics that the site will continue even after we move to Norway.
We have no plans to close the site at all, and we will still be running the site as we always have done.
Thank you all for your continued support, it means a lot to us!

New surroundings
Good luck on your move. With all your preperations for your move how badly has your play time in paradise city suffered? I'm also intrested in knowing how much time you average when things arent so busy.
