The soundtrack for Burnout 3: Takedown features more than 40 songs from bands including Jimmy Eat World, Yellowcard, New Found Glory, and many more. The soundtrack delivers an authentic radio experience complete with commentary from DJ Stryker from alternative radio station KROQ-FM in Los Angeles.
The soundtrack is part of the EA TRAX music initiative. This program is dedicated to elevating the in-game entertainment experience by delivering breakthrough music in all EA SPORTS, EA GAMES and EA SPORTS BIG releases.
Originally there was a soundtrack much like the one in Burnout 2: Point of Impact. This was replaced by the EA Trax soundtrack before the release of the game. Most of the original and so far unpublished soundtrack will be included in Burnout Paradise.
The Burnout 3: Takedown soundtrack is now also available from iTunes.
