Burnout Paradise 1.6... rocks

I've been trying out Burnout Paradise 1.6 this afternoon and I really like it.

My main reason for liking it is that the game is much more colourful now. The colours are much more vibrant and clearer. Personally I did not like the grayish/blue tint that made everything look really dull.

The fog / mist no longer looks like the fog in a pre 2000 PC game. I think the option to turn it off is no longer needed.

Seems like menus made it to Paradise City after all. This is a good thing. It’s not always good to be different just for the sake of being different.

Who is playing Resident Evil 5 tonight?

The demo version of RESIDENT EVIL 5 is now available from the Microsoft Marketplace.

Play by yourself or play with a partner in co-op mode, either online or offline with split screen.

I've just added this one to my download queue. Might have to sacrifice some Fable 2 time for Resident Evil 5 tonight

GRAND THEFT AUTO IV: THE LOST AND DAMNED

Johnny is a veteran member of The Lost, a notorious biker gang. Johnny has been creating business opportunities for The Lost in Liberty City, but his first loyalty must be to the patch he wears on his back and to Billy Grey, the club's President. However, when Billy returns from rehab hell-bent on bloodshed and debauchery, Johnny finds himself in the middle of a vicious turf war with rival gangs for control of a city torn apart by violence and corruption. Can the brotherhood survive?

Crash

Found these two awsome videos today. They are both from the XNA Crash Demo from 2004 which was developed by Pseudo Interactive and later evolved into Full Auto.

I really like the way they beat up that Saleen.

Burnout 3 Takedown

We are back with out Burnout 3 Takedown Wednesdays!

Dash of achievements

Today Dash of Destruction was released for free on Xbox Live Arcade. Dash your way through the city as a hungry Tyrannosaurus Rex in search of a Doritos delivery truck, or as a terrified truck zooming in and out of the T-Rex’s path of destruction in search of its drop-off points.

XBox Live Community Games

As some of you might have discovered a new group of games was made available with the release of the new Xbox experience (NXE). The new group is called Community Games and if you want to have a look at what is available you can go here: http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/games/catalog.aspx?d=7 .

XNA Game Studio 3.0

XNA Game Studio 3.0 is now live. I'm downloading it now and will probably be playing around with it tonight. It is also very good news that XNA 3.0 integrates with Visual Studio 2008. This means that I  can finally get rid of my Visual Studio 2005 install.
