EA ANNOUNCES THE ADRENALINE INFUSING SOUNDTRACK FOR BURNOUT PARADISE

Chertsey, UK – December 18, 2007 – Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS) announced today that Guns N’ Roses high-intensity rock anthem Paradise City headlines the playlist in Burnout™ Paradise for the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360™ videogame system. The music propels the game into high speed action with forty major artists including Alice in Chains, Jane’s Addiction, Soundgarden, Twisted Sister, Jimmy Eat World and N.E.R.D., as well as rising stars Airbourne, Jupiter One and Junkie XL who have been signed to EA’s own music label, Artwerk.

Burnout Paradise Soundtrack revealed!

Burnout Paradise Logo
EA has today announced the full track listing for the Burnout Paradise soundtrack, which is headlined by Guns N' Roses' rock anthem Paradise City. In total the soundtrack will include songs from forty major artists including Adam and the Ants, Depeche Mode, Jimmy Eat World, Soundgarden and The Pigeon Detectives.

The Burnout Paradise soundtrack features a truly volatile mix of rock's most dangerous tracks -- beginning with the iconic 'Paradise City' -- for an audio fuel as explosive as the game itself.

In addition to this Burnout Paradise also inluces the soundtrack from Burnout 1, Burnout 2: Point of Impact and the original soundtrack for Burnout 3: Takedown. This is the music that was replaced by the EA-TRAX soundtrack that is in the game today.

Burnout Paradise FAQ

I've been reading a lot of the threads that have been posted on various Burnout Paradise forums lately and I decided it was time to do a little FAQ. There seems to be a lot of confusion about lots of different topics and I've tried to cover some of them in my mini FAQ.

Xandu’s Demo experience

I’ve been playing this demo for a good 15 hours now and I think I’m ready to do a little write up.

The demo contains 1 Stunt Run Event, 1 Race Event and 1 Burning Route. When doing online freeburn there is a total of 22 online challenges. As far as I know only 9 of these are currently available but hopefully the remaining 13 will be unlocked at a later time.

The Official Burnout Paradise Webpage

The Official Burnout Paradise Webpage is full of information about the game.  Including a cool version of the map with colour coded districts and loads of screen shots.

Most of the information is from Criterion Games own website, like the podcasts and news, but its in a Paradise style and it looks good!
