Nero Angelo has written another guide on how to keep up with the fastest racers in Burnout Revenge. It is a in depth guide that requires that you are already familiar with boost and drift jumping.

This guide is called: "The theory of Speed: Revenge" and you can read it here.

BurnoutAholics Burnout 3: Weekly Wednesday

Today BurnoutAholics hosted the first weekly Wednesday Burnout 3: Takedown event.

Every Wednesday from about 7pm GMT we will be hosting a BurnoutAholics room on Burnout 3: Takedown. This room will be a variety of racing and road rage with a variety of different series locks. We might even throw in some crash junctions!

Please look out for us on Wednesdays, if the room is full, please send us a message, or just host your own room! Hopefully we will be able to get enough people playing to get a few rooms going!

See you Next Wednesday!

Big Surf Island - A Stunt Runner's Paradise!

For the first time since May 2008 Criterion Games has released new information, screens and video of Big Surf Island.

The Burnout Team has been watching you! They have taken telemetry from Burnout Paradise. They have seen that we play at the Airfield, Quarry, Dam and the Beach. Now, Big Surf Island will be our new playground. They have seen that we like big jumps, so the Island will have the biggest jumps in the game.

For the first time Criterion Games have shown us the other side of the Island. It has a tropical feel, with palm trees and dirt roads.

We got his permission and the guides have now been made available. You can access them directly from the links below:

Playstation Trophies NOT Retroactive

To all you PSN players, the Trophy update has been released today, but sadly Criterion were not able to implement them retroactively.

This is what Criterion Games said on their website today:

"Burnout Paradise saves are locked to your profile. We had hoped to use this to retroactively award trophies, but we discovered during testing that this is not possible. You will therefore require a fresh game-save to receive trophies in Burnout Paradise. If you're familiar with PS3 trophies already, you'll recognise that this works in the same way as all other games that have added trophy support post-release."

And Matt Webster added this in the forums this morning:
