Burnout Team Rocks!! WooHoo!

I just caught up with the last 3 podcasts, listening to them on the bus on the way to work over the last 2 days. Contrary to what I had been told about the content being boring and not adding anything new, listening to them has reinvigorated my enthusiasm for Paradise.

The Crash Time Demo is Out Now on the Xbox 360 Marketplace.

I downloaded it today, and have played through it, and had a lot of fun with it too!

I previewed Crash Time a bit in a previous blog which you can read HERE. It is based on a German Police drama TV show, so it has a story. The demo starts off with you working on a case "Beginner's Luck". You can choose 3 different difficulty settings and if you don't like the default controls you can choose between 3 different controller layouts.

So what do you reckon? Does Burnout Paradise have the best soundtrack? Is it the best Xbox or PS3 game of the year? Are Criterion the best developers? Is EA the best publisher???

It's been just over a week since Paradise City was announced on PC. We have been running a poll since the announcement and only 20% of you said you would buy the game on PC.

I don't know much about PC gaming, but the thing which has caught my imagination is the possibilities of Mods....

There has been some chatter about this over at the new PC forum at CriterionGames.com, like adding Crash Junctions, user designed challenges, Big Rigs etc.

I was thinking of calling this blog 360 v PS3, but it's not about a console war comparison thing, so or with a ? seems more appropriate.

What I want to talk about is the Burnout Community, is there a difference between the 360 and PS3? What is the difference? and should I be considering getting a PS3 to join a more active Burnout Paradise community???

Xbox 360 owners may have noticed an advert on the dashboard for a game called Cobra 11 Crash Time. I noticed it and got curious so I went searching for more information.

There I was racing with a slightly inebriated Eezo thinking this should be an easy win or two for me!  But, having not played Revenge for a while the rust had settled in and I was battling for 3rd or 4th. I got a couple of sweet 2nd places on Motor City thanks to last corner takedowns too!

Then we hit Angel Valley...
