I have spent a lot of time on the Criterion Games official forums lately, so much so that I am an Elite poster and have a nice bold name compared to other mere posters.

However, I noticed today a  shift in the way the forums are moderated and at least one thread that I had posted in has been deleted.

The only reason I can see for this deletion is that it was against adding planes to Burnout.

After the announcements yesterday I steered clear of the Criterion Games forums, and did not play online or write anything more as I had not heard the podcast for myself until this morning and I was frankly, far too upset last night.

The first announcement was the one which blew me away more then the BIG one.

Criterion are bringing a car with no boost to Paradise City.

Why? ....   Why?? ....... Alex mentioned something about skill??????

A moment of silence, please, for my 360, which RRoD'ed today.

I thought I was safe.  It was one of the first generation 360's that was the center of the 'RRoD scare'.  While my friend's consoles (all of which were newer than mine) RRoD'ed, mine kept working faithfully.  Until today, when I turned it on to play a little Need for Speed.  It started loading, then just... Stopped.

Granted, I did not play it much these days, but it will be missed.

For those of you who took a day trip to the moon, Criterion Games have been showing a Live Video Podcast today with some HUGE announcements.

I am at work so have not been watching but the main points so far are:

a car with no boost bar

Aeroplanes

 I try to play Paradise two hours day or more but do have to work and have to keep the wife happy too. Hope to race with all at some time.

I finally figured out the red cars glitch for myself today!  I love the shiny red paint scheme's on the cars and that it works on the Carbon cars! Does anyone know if this was designed to work this way, or if it is just a weird but cool glitch?

I recently bough Paradise and i've got to say it is awesome, the graphics, the gameplay and sound are all top notch and the cars all handle and feel different, quite an acheivment for a game thats not a simulation like Forza Motorsport 2.

The smashes, billboards and jumps were something I really liked when I first switched on because it was different, now, having completed all 3, I can say that although frustrating, these were really good fun.
